Woodward Ranch Plume Agate Rock Slab 0108

Woodward Ranch is a classic plume agate from Texas and is a favorite of collectors.  The iron/manganese minerals show as black or red plumes resembling trees or ferns.  These robust plumes on a clear agate field make superb finished cabs which are highly prized by artisans and craftsmen. Woodward Ranch is often cut thin to better showcase the delicate plumes.  Unfortunately, the site was closed to digging in 2018.

Origin:  Texas

Dimensions:  3.5" x 1.25" and approximately 2.5 mm thick.  Weight = 20 grams.
