Queensland Agate was found on Agate Creek, a tributary of the Robertson River in Australia.  The site was first discovered as far back as 1892 and then revisited in the 1950s by the Brisbane group of collectors.  During the 1960s and 1970s the site continued to be mined by active rockhounds.  It is known for its’ soft pinks and reds but has been display many other colors including blue, red, yellow and white.   These distinct slabs are perfect for small eye-catching cabs.

Origin: Australia

Dimensions: 1.75" x .75" and is approximately 5.7 mm thick. Weight = 11 grams.

Not polished. Shown wet. Known flaws are shown as white lines in the final picture frame.
