Picasso Stone Slab 22

Picasso Stone from Utah is famous for its striking pattern of gray/brown random "brush strokes" that make it look similar to the art work of Picasso. This unique look was created when molten igneous material was forced through the cracks in limestone.  Actually considered to be marble, it is softer than agate/jasper but still makes excellent cabbing stock.

Origin: Utah

Dimensions:  4.5" x 3.5" and approximately 5.4 mm thick.   Weight = 114 grams. 

Shown wet.  Not polished. Known flaws are shown as white lines in the final picture frame.
