K2 Blue Rock Slab 47

K2 Blue is a very rare material from Pakistan.  It was introduced to markets about 2015 and rapidly become very popular with lapidary enthusiasts and artisans.  The deposit is located on the world’s 2^nd highest mountain peak “K2” in the Himalayan region of Pakistan.  The background/matrix is granite with brilliant Robin’s egg blue spheres of the mineral azurite.  K2 Blue cuts some very unique lithic cabs with an eye catching splash of color.  A “must” for any collection.

Origin:  Pakistan

Dimensions: 5" x 2.25" and approximately 11.8 mm thick.  Weight = 183 grams.
