Forest Fire Plume Agate Rock Slab 3

Forest Fire Plume agate is a highly prized old stock agate material from Idaho with brilliant, spiky plumes of vivid red and pink with white accents in a translucent agate matrix. This very rare material has not been actively produced for nearly ten years and only in very limited quantities.  This striking material makes exceptional cabs and is often collected as a valuable specimen.

Origin:  Idaho

Dimensions:  2" x 1 and approximately 8.6 mm thick. Weight = 24 grams. 

Shown wet.  Not polished.  Known flaws are shown as white lines in the final picture frame.
