Agua Nueva Agate Rock slab 52

A relatively recent variety of agate from Mexico, Agua Nueva has vaulted to the top of the "must have" list of collector pieces.  Known for its bright, fortification pattern, many times accented with moss, it makes spectacular show pieces.

Origin:  Mexico

Dimensions:  6" x 2.5" and approximately 5.2 mm thick.  Weight = 119 grams. 

Shown wet.  Not polished.  Known flaws are shown as white lines in the final picture frame.
