African Queen Picture Jasper Slab 21

The Kalahari Desert, Namibia, Africa is the source of African Queen Landscape/Picture Jasper. The layered patterns create picturesque landscape scenes with brown and black bands flowing across a tan background. It is an opaque, microcrystalline form of quartz. As with any microcrystalline quartz, it is hard and takes an excellent polish with cerium or tin oxide.

Origin: Namibia

Dimensions: 4.25" x 4" and is approximately 7.2 mm thick. Weight = 167 grams.
